Music in the Abbey hosts a range of musical activity in the historic setting of Hexham Abbey. In these pages you will find details of:

October 2008 - information is still being added to this site as next year's programme is being put together. The site should be complete by the end of November..

October 2008 - Abbey Chamber Organ Project - the abbey is aiming to raise £19,400 to purchase a chamber organ for use in the liturgy and also as a continuo instrument. Over £14,000 has been raised so far! More details will be posted on this website, but in the meantime if you would like more information, or are interested in contributing, please contact "Friends of Abbey Music" at the address given on the contacts page.
